Detailed Rack Assembly Instructions
Assembly of your new Rack Prior to assembling your Rack, please make sure you have the following 3 Rack component packs: Simple as A, B, C |
Step 3 - Line up the holes in the rail with the holes in the Connecting Corner and begin to hand tighten each Dog Point screw as provided in package A. After all screws are tight, the first is now fully assembled (Figure #3). Repeat steps 1 through 3 with the remaining group of (4) connecting corners and rails to assemble a second frame identical to the first. |
Master Pack A - 8
connecting corners, 4 width rails, 4 nylon
leveler/glides & 96 dog point screws Package B - 4 depth rails, rack screws & washers Package C - 4 height rails, rack screws & washers Master Pack A contains four 17-1/2 inch rails the width of the Rack. Package B contains four depth rails creating the rack depth of your Rack. Package C contains four height rails creating the rack height of your Rack. There are four standard depth rail sets and 10 standard height rail sets from which to choose. All eight connecting corners from Master Pack A are identical. Each connecting corner has 3 sides. Two of the sides have 4 holes. The remaining side has a 5th hole which is a 5/16" tapped hole to accommodate leveling feet, casters and either anchoring or attaching other Rack accessories. |
Step 4 - Next, remove the height rails included in package C. Place the height rails in the last remaining height slot in the connecting corners of the frame you just assembled. Repeat this process until all four height rails are in all four height slots of the second frame you assembled. (Figure #4) |

Step 1 - Position (4) Connecting Corners flat against the work surface. Remember the side with the 5-holes needs to be positioned to rest flat against the work surface. (Figure #1) |
Step 5 - Next, position the second frame you assembled in the previous step so that the four height rails extending from Frame One line up with each of the height slots of the other Frame. (Figure #5) Once both frames are in position, line up the holes in the rail with the hole in the height slots and begin to hand tighten each Dog Point screw (Figure #6). |

Step 2 - Position the Connecting Corners in such a way as to allow enough space to slide the 17-1/2 inch width rails from package A into the matching slot of each pair of front and back Connecting Corners. Follow this same procedure for the left and right Depth Rails, thereby forming the first rectangular frame (Figure #2). |
Step 6 - Finally, choose one end of your fully assembled Rack and hand screw & tighten the (4) leveling glides included in Package A, into the only remaining 5th open hole in the Connecting Corner (Figure #7). This elevates the Rack high enough preventing the screw heads from contacting a flat surface. (Figure #8) Congratulations! You are now ready to begin mounting your rack equipment into the Rack. |
